Science in the News
A Science Podcasting workshop examining how science appears in the news and acting as a real science journalist!

This is a workshop which involves researching science news on the world wide web and what appears in the newspapers, writing a science news story, creating a storyboard and recording it as a podcast. The finished podcast can appear on your school website.

You can even create your own radio station and radio show! Pupils will have the opportunity to publish their news stories and podcasts to the Science Newspaper, a special dedicated section will allow pupils to act as real scientists and science writers, publishing their news for others around the world to read.

Pupils will be guided through the workshop by a scientist and a science journalist.
