The Smallpeice Trust

The Smallpeice Trust runs a broad range of inspirational engineering programmes for students from years 8-12 of the National Curriculum. Programmes vary from one-day, in-school sessions to four-day residential courses. Each one is designed to maximise hands-on engineering time in the company of engineers and instructors.

A new Year 10 Engineering materials course will be running at the University of Manchester from 28 to 31 July. There are 50 places in total. All the Smallpeice courses are heavily subsidised by around 75% and the cost to students ranges from £25 to £195, which includes all accommodation (4 days), meals, course materials and social activities. If a teacher wants to come along too, they will also be paid £240 in gift vouchers as a thank you.
